MAXIMILIAN, 1987

Born and raised in the Black Forest, nature has always been my closest companion and greatest inspiration. After completing my communications design degree, where I gained a deep understanding of visual language, I ultimately discovered my true calling in painting. The creative process gave me the freedom and authenticity I had always sought.

 

My work is abstract and organic—a fusion of pigments, resin, and gold leaf that creates unique depth and movement. The colors flow and come alive, capturing a natural rhythm. I aim for my paintings to transport viewers beyond everyday life, offering a moment of reflection and space for their own emotions and thoughts—much like a walk in nature.

 

Now based in Hamburg, I work from my studio, continually exploring new ideas and techniques. It's incredibly fulfilling to see my art collected internationally, connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Each piece reflects my journey and invites others to experience a bit of that journey for themselves.
